This professional duo of interior designers complements each other and together creates wonderful works of art. In 2009, mother and daughter became partners in CORALYS DESIGN one of Puerto Rico's top full service interior design firms and furniture store.

 Coralys Colón, ASID, CODDI

Coralys Colón is a recognized name in the interior design industry in Puerto Rico with twenty-five years of experience in residential and commercial projects.
After she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, she enrolled in the San Juan School of Interior Design. It was there where she realized what her true passion was and her life took a 180º degree turn.
She is a member of the Colegio de Diseñadores y Decoradores de Puerto Rico (CODDI), and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). In her early years as an interior designer, she founded CORALYS, an interior design and furniture store in the San Juan Metropolitan Area.
Coralys Colón was recognized in 2000 as a Distinguished Designer by CODDI. She has collaborated for years in different communication media like Telemundo, Puerto Rico TV, The San Juan Star Newspaper, and WKAQ radio station. Her design work has appeared in local newspapers and magazines.
She has accomplished a variety of interior design projects for private residences, corporate and private offices, and hospitality clients. Some of her most outstanding hospitality projects were the interior design work of Rincón of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel in Rincón, Puerto Rico and the Las Brisas Presidential Suites at El Conquistador Resort & Casino in Fajardo. She also worked at the Mayagüez Resort & Casino, Ponce Holiday Inn & Tropical Casino, Mayagüez Holiday Inn & Tropical Casino, Holiday Inn Express San Juan, Comfort Inn San Juan and other local hotels.

Coralys Colón's trademark as an interior designer is her talent and creativity for designing innovative & unique furniture that enhance the interiors. "My passion is creating functional and beautiful living environments that reflect the lifestyles and personal tastes of my clients. I love to transform spaces into extraordinary rooms and in the process, exceeding clients' expectations," she said.

 Coralys Pérez    

Coralys Pérez has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with specialty in Management and Marketing from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. She followed her mother's footsteps and studied interior design. She graduated in 2001 from The San Juan School of Interior Design, San Juan PR.

When she finished her studies, she worked for three years at CORALYS as an assistant designer and in the marketing department. Her best design experience was working on the interior construction drawings and interior design specification books for the Rincón of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel in Rincón, Puerto Rico.

In 2004, she moved to the Unites States where she worked as Junior Interior Designer for Pamela Patt Finchman at Willow Design, in Palm Beach, Florida. She got plenty of experience in supervising contractor's work and installations for turnkey projects in residential mansions.

She then worked for Wisenbaker Builder Services for four years in Houston, Texas. Wisenbaker is one of the largest builder service companies in the US that offers consulting and design services to the custom build developers. In 2009, she decided to return to Puerto Rico and rejoined "the family business". At present, she is the general manager for Coralys.
